Product / Concept Design
Designing needs a strong imagination, innovation & creativity. At JIG it is god gifted. Our team of artists' sketch the fantastic designs in collaboration with our mechanical design engineers to make the designs successful creates the basic product design or concept design. We then create the virtual models using state-of-the-art VISI CAD software with due consideration of mechanism, practical availability of material and fitment parts. Innovating with specialisation at a reasonable price; we specialise in both the top down & bottom up of product design. Our designing team deals with important aspects of technology, ergonomics, usability, human factors, material technology & qualities. Our Product designers are equipped with skills needed to bring products from conception to market. They have the ability to manage design projects & sub contract areas to other sectors of the design industry.

Experience : Man hours of design
We have vast experience of 1,80,000 man hours in Design, where we do Concept design, product design, relative tool design considering the right manufacturing process.

Building the full design is often expensive and can be time-consuming, especially when repeated several times -- building the full design, figuring out what the problems are and how to solve them, then building another full design. As an alternative, "rapid-prototyping" or "rapid application development" techniques are used for the initial prototypes, which implement part, but not all, of the complete design. This allows designers and manufacturers to rapidly and inexpensively test the parts of the design that are most likely to have problems, solve those problems, and then build the full design.

Rapid prototyping takes virtual designs from computer aided design (CAD) or animation modeling software, transforms them into thin, virtual, horizontal cross-sections and then creates each cross-section in physical space, one after the next until the model is finished. It is a WYSIWYG process where the virtual model and the physical model correspond almost identically. With additive fabrication, the machine reads in data from a CAD drawing and lays down successive layers of liquid, powder, or sheet material, and in this way builds up the model from a series of cross sections. These layers, which correspond to the virtual cross section from the CAD model, are joined together or fused automatically to create the final shape. The primary advantage to additive fabrication is its ability to create almost any shape or geometric feature. The standard data interface between CAD software and the machines is the STL file format. An STL file approximates the shape of a part or assembly using triangular facets. Tiny facets produce a higher quality surface.

Man hours of working with prototypes
Our Prototyping partners has experience of 3,80,000 hours of doing rapid prototyping i.e. SLA, SLS, CNC machined prototyping, silicon molding, investment casting etc.

Our engineering team is fully equipped with precise and advance measuring instruments for complete mechanical inspection of any product, so that we can achieve the '0% error level'. And we're not afraid of flexible sheet metal or other critical & non-uniform shapes. Also our engineers grasp the nature of the product and all about its fitments and functioning family parts that we are able to define the position of the products with standard dimensions. We measure all the profiles considering the true value of dimensions and then classify the measuring methods, Touching or Non-touching methods (include 3D Scanning Technologies and CMM.)

The practicality of virtual model is proved by its tooling concepts. After finalizing the product model (with approval of our Tool design engineers), we plan the appropriate program to manufacture the automatic and economical Mould/Die. We employ VISI-Mould/VISI-Pro that helps us achieve high quality standards of Mass Production. While designing a die or a Mould special attention is given to the machining concepts and assembly of the inserts. Our Engineers are highly capable to design Injection Moulds, Press Tools and Pressure Die-Casting Moulds.

Support for vendor finalization by visiting the different Tool Rooms & inspecting their capabilities & infrastructure. Technical support in negotiation by means of which & in what price compare to the market prices & some modification (if required) in basic tool design to make the deal economical.

Cross checking of all the tool designs by means of material selection, tool life, tool cost, maintenance aspects, changeable core / cavity inserts provision for future product modification etc.

Trouble shooting for manufacturability of various features of the product and make the tool maker understand the exact requirement.

All technical discussion for achieving the appropriate quality of the end product.
Quality check by means of parting line/surface, flow marks, sink marks & and other issues related to injection molding on
